1) There engines are a lot stronger and are built to last much longer, cars in the olden days used to be built to last decades, now it is all about the money and new cars are just created to last a few years so you have to buy another.
2) They cost a lot less to repair when they do break down, unless of course you choose to buy a BMW or buy a Mercedes.
3) They cost a lot less to by. If your budget is not very high then going for a reliable used vehicle would be the best choice for you.
