Car insurance. What is the big deal of insuring your car? Why is it required by law to have your car insured? Can you think of why you might need to have insurance covering your car? I know of my instances when car insurance has come in handy. I personally have been in a couple of car accidents. They are not fun, kind of stressful, but I was able to make it through the whole situation because of the help of car insurance. Sure, there are plenty of people who are wealthy enough they might be okay if they don’t have insurance on their car. But I am not one of those people who can afford not to have car insurance. Sure, you pay that monthly insurance payment. It is kind of a pain, but lets think about the benefits of the different types of insurance for a second.

First off, full coverage insurance. This insurance will help you whether or not the car accident was your fault. This car insurance will cost a little bit more each month, but can be worth your while if your car isn’t cheap and you have a lot of car payments left on your car. If something were to happen to your car and you didn’t have full coverage insurance, where would you be? You would now have a non usable car that is still costing you money every month. Car insurance helps protect you from that happening. You won’t have to worry about getting stuck with monthly car payments of a destroyed car.

Now lets talk about liability insurance. This type of insurance is mainly going to be used if you own a cheap car that you don’t expect to live much longer. This car insurance will only cover the other party in a car accident. If you were to hit another car with your own, your insurance would not pay for your car, but would pay for the other car damages.

Now why have at least liability car insurance? Why is it required by law? Well, if you think about it. What would happen if someone hit your car with theirs and they didn’t have any insurance at all. Now you have a broken car and they don’t have the proper car insurance to cover for you. The only way to get money for your car is to bring them to court. So let’s skip the hassle and get car insurance.
